Mark Warner, Media Consulta Malta’s Head of Creative and AudioVisual Production, produced and directed the commercial based on a concept he pitched to the client.

The approach was to use a narrative structure and humour to engage the target audience and highlight Aptamil 3’s qualities of strengthening and building up immunity within infants. This was a departure to the usual ‘infomercial’ approach for advertising such products. Pemix Ltd. were supportive of the concept from the beginning, firmly believing that an advert that offers something different to the norm will stand out and be remembered.

Storyboards, available to view below, were created by Media Consulta’s Senior Graphic Designer, Andrei Xuereb.

The production was filmed on HD format with production and post production facilities provided by Carmel Bruno at Legwork Productions.
