With events on course for success

MEDIA CONSULTA Event GmbH with a sales increase of over 60 Percent

Berlin, 28th April 2008 -Already in its third year after the founding MEDIA CONSULTA Event GmbH recorded a total fee revenue of 4.47 million euros in 2007- a rise of 67 percent over the previous year. In the field of live communication the subsidiary achieved with 3.12 million euro a fee revenue increase of 63 percent. Given this - contrary to the general trend - MC Event increased their team led by executive director Dr. Frank C. Wintgens to the current 25 permanent employees.

This positive development is mainly related to earnings generated through many new customers due to the international orientation of the Agency:
Over 120 national and international events were organized in 2007 - from press conferences and pan-European roadshows over award ceremonies to top-evening galas with well-known guests of honour.
Among the customers of the MEDIA CONSULTA subsidiary one finds brands such as Vodafone or the European food discounter Lidl as well as political Institutions: The German Federal Government, various National ministries, the EU Commission or the Balearic Islands.
On European level MC organized, inter alia, the musical event of the year, the European Border Breakers Awards (EBBA) in Cannes. EBBA was part of the biggest international music trade fair called MIDEM. MC has contributed for the second time in succession to the overwhelming success of the event. In Germany the MC daughter planned and implemented Sport events with prominent testimonials such as the vice Formula 1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton as well as the former world champion Michael Schumacher. Furthermore high-government meetings with German Chancellor Angela Merkel took place on various occasions.
The event department was restructured in 2005 into an independent
GmbH (Ltd) as MEDIA CONSULTA affiliate and part of the MC network.
"For 2008 we expect sales growth of at least 40 percent, "says MC-CEO Harald Zulauf." The success shows us that the creation of a separate event entity was the right step."
