
Berlin/ Malta, 1st June 2007 - Malta Tourism Authority announced its new agency partner, Media Consulta International Holding AG.
Malta, 1st June 2007 - Malta Tourism Authority announced its new agency partner, Media Consulta International Holding AG, who have been awarded the three-year contract for Advertising and Marketing Communications Services with the option to extend for a further year. The agency will be responsible for a €7 million annual account covering the Malta Tourism Authority’s media, advertising, selected PR services, events and sales promotion activities.
Media Consulta is the only German agency with a network covering all member states and potential candidate countries of the EU as well as all important global economic centres. In 2006 the gross income of the MC network worldwide amounted to €206.7 million (with billings of €1,378.7 million) of which €38.2 million (on billings of €254.8 million) were in Germany alone. The agency is one of the fastest growing in Europe, and in the last year alone has won more than 20 national and international accounts, creating an additional 184 jobs in Europe. The network currently employs 765 full-time staff members in Europe and 1,435 worldwide.
Media Consulta is a fully integrated communications agency with subsidiaries specialising in advertising and media, public relations, corporate publishing, sport marketing, event management and TV production. The agency has led accounts in a variety of sectors such as tourism, institutional and brand communications, including work for the Balearic Islands, Visa and Vodafone. As an agency of both the European Commission and the German government, Media Consulta recently handled the communication activities for the EU summit in the context of the German EU Council Presidency. Media Consulta is currently preparing the communication strategy for the G8 Summit in Heiligendamm, Germany.
