Module 1: PR, Marketing and Event
The courses- „PR Conceptualisation“, „Journalistic Writing“, „International Campaigning“ and the „INSIGHT“ lectures focusing on integrated communications- offer a diverse insight into the various aspects of communication, be it PR, events or political editorials.
 
Module 2: Creation, Advertising and TV
In the workshop „Creative Sessions“, the participants learn to develop high-quality ideas with the help of creativity techniques and thinking strategies. This session is complemented by the „INSIGHT“ lectures, which explain tasks and provide examples, possibilities and trends in the fields of media planning, creation and tv production.
 
Module 3: Computer Skills und New Media
In this module, staff can extend their IT-skills: experts systematically familiarise employees with MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator. In the „INSIGHT“ seminars, employees can learn practical tips and tricks in working with computers from experienced employees.
 
Module 4: Project and Team Leading
Team-building, conflict resolution, motivation and much more are shared in the module “Team leading“. “Controlling for Non-Controllers“ offers an introduction to the most important aspects of this central planning element for companies. How to lead projects successfully and use time and energy effectively makes up the content of „Project Management“. In the „INSIGHT“ lectures, tasks and processes of the Purchasing, Quality Management, New Business and Controlling departments are illustrated and explained.
 
Module 5: Presenting – Moderatin – Negotiating
g – The main focus of module 5 is the further training of soft skills. In „Negotiation Training“, „Presenting Successfully“ and „INSIGHT“, central principles of negotiation and the instruments necessary to conduct a negotiation are taught. Staff members are given the opportunity to follow along with presentations for clients and discuss them afterwards or to take part in a comprehensive presentation training with video feedback.
 
Module 6: Language Skills
In the monthly „Evening Language Corner”, international guest speakers give an English or French lecture on current political, economic or media related topics and are then invited to discuss them in the foreign language. In language courses, the employees can also enhance their business English or French systematically with mother-tongue teachers.
 
Module 7: Professionals in Dialogue
In the three seminar forums “PRACTICE”, „Monday Lectures” and „Lectures”, current topics in the fields of economics or politics are analysed and trends in the communication branch are highlighted. The lecturers either come from the political scene or are economic or communication experts. The “PRACTICE” series offers all interested persons at MC exclusive visits to local media institutions, partners or suppliers.
